These terms govern how customers use Elmart to browse, order, and interact with vendors
1. Elmart Role
Elmart is a digital marketplace connecting customers with independent vendors.
We provide the platform, but vendors fulfill orders. Elmart is not the seller
2. Orders & payments
Orders are placed through Elmart but fulfilled by vendors
Payment may be made via mobile money or other agreed methods
Elmart may facilitate payment but is not liable for vendor defaults
3. Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds are handled by vendors according to their policies. Elmart may assist in dispute resolution but is not responsible for refund processing.
Note: Transaction fees applied during the original payment (e.g, mobile money charges) affect the refunded amount. Customers may receive slightly less than the original payment due to these unavoidable fees.
Cancelled or failed orders are not eligible for commission
Refunds are processed once vendor confirms and funds are available
4. Customer Responsibilities
Provide accurate contact information
Ensure payment is completed before expecting order fullfilment
Communicate any disputes or Cancellations promptly
5. Liability
Elmart is not liable for product quality, delivery, or vendor perfomance.
Customers use the platform at their own discretion.
6. Changes to Terms
Elmart may update customer terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
